Amanda graduated with a first-class honours degree and a Master's in Education from the University of Galway, and she has been teaching Gaeilge for many years, with extensive experience teaching the language at all levels in both English and Irish-medium schools. She has a proven track record of helping her students achieve top marks, with several of her students being recognised by the University for outstanding results in State Examinations.
Amanda has been working in the Gaeltacht with Coláiste Árainn Mhóir for many years which, combined with her years of experience as both a written and oral examiner for the State Examination Commission, allows her to bring deep curriculum insight to her students.
Amanda is highly passionate about the language, having also taught adult learners for several years with Gaelchultúr, Líonra Leitir Ceanainn and the UCD Summer School. Her supportive and engaging teaching style ensures that her students are fully prepared and confident heading into their state examinations.
