Over the course of the academic year, we will cover all aspects of the Higher Level Junior Cycle Irish exam. We will focus on the verbs at the start of the year in the weekly grinds to ensure students have the correct foundation to go on and achieve the best possible results. Students will become very familiar with the more difficult big mark questions such as “An Litir”, “Na Léamhthuiscintí” and “An Scéal”.

Students will cover 5 different poems and 5 different stories to ensure they have a wide variety of content to choose from for the exam in June.

Students will be given notes which will include poetry, stories, letters, prose and of course previous exam questions. Our teachers will use their experience and in-depth knowledge of the course to ensure all students are very comfortable with the exam layout and the content needed to succeed. Towards the end of the year, we will discuss exam strategies, time management and helpful tips and exam shortcuts each student has confidence going into the Junior Cert Irish exam.
