Choosing which subjects to study for the Leaving Cert is a big decision. We can help you with that choice with our free of charge evening.

Choosing which subjects to study for the Leaving Cert is a big decision. It is important that 4th Year students choose the subjects that play to their strengths in order to maximise their performance in the State Examinations. It is with this in mind that we have developed a Subject Choice Evening to assist 4th Year students with this decision. This free event will take place on Thursday 10th February in our school in Stillorgan from 6:45pm - 8:00pm.
Attendees of the evening will hear from our team of leading teachers, who will clearly explain what is involved in each subject, which will allow for an informed decision regarding subject choice.

Our teachers will provide talks on the following subjects:

Our teachers will also methodically run through the following criteria for each subject:
What way is the course structured?
How is the Leaving Cert assessment carried out?
What type of student does the subject suit?
What careers are related to each subject?
Once the presentation element is complete, our team of teachers will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have. This evening is an excellent way for students to give their Leaving Cert subject choices some greater thought and absorb crucial information to help inform their decision.
