Trial our Weekly Grinds. One of the core principles of our Irish grinds is to help students work smarter not harder. We will help you overlap material so that it can be used in multiple areas of the Irish course thus maximising your valuable study time. As a Grinds student, you will also have access to the archive of class recordings, meaning you will never miss a class.

How the 5th Year Irish Grinds Works
1 X Weekly In-Person Exam-Focused Classes (60 mins + 10 min Q&A)
A weekly exam focused Irish Grind that helps grow students’ confidence and exam performance. After all irish grinds, there are 10-minute Q&A sessions with our teachers, allowing time to tackle specific student challenges. Students can also choose to attend this grind online. A monthly note to parents will be sent out which will outline what topics are being covered and the schedule for the month ahead.
Supervised Study Lounge Access
Mon-Wed: 5pm-7:45pm | Thur: 4pm-6:45pm | Sat: 10am-1pm
Students attending the Irish grinds have access to a quiet, structured space for focused study at our new State-of-the-art Campus in Blackrock Co. Dublin.
The Irish Mock Exams with Detailed Solutions
Our Irish teachers will produce their own mock exams based on their predictions for the upcoming Junior Cycle Irish exams, and provide full solutions for students. There will be two Mock Irish Exams held throughout the year.

What our Irish Grinds cover:
This course is designed to strengthen students’ confidence and fluency in the Irish language. In 5th Year, the focus is on developing key skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while also deepening an appreciation for Irish culture and literature. Through a variety of engaging themes and practical language use, students build on their Junior Cycle foundation and prepare for the challenges of the Leaving Certificate. The course supports steady progress and aims to help each student use Irish with greater ease and understanding.
