Students can now choose the Crash Courses that best support their exam preparation, with each course available on a single subject basis for €99 per course.

Each Crash Course includes:

  • Focused support in one chosen subject.
  • Comprehensive H1 study notes, with over 200 pages per course, created by State Examiners and textbook authors.
  • Expert tuition, with approximately four to five hours of focused teaching per course.
  • Past and probable exam questions, targeting topics most likely to appear in the State Examinations this year.

Crash Courses take place in the lead-up to the State Examinations and can be attended in person in Blackrock or online via live-stream for most courses.

Meet your Maths Teacher

David Lewis

David has over 10 years experience teaching Maths and Biology at the highest level and he specialises in giving students a clear, fundamental understanding of the syllabus. He is fascinated by innovative new ways of creating effective, personalised exam strategies which students find hugely beneficial and are proven to achieve results.  As an examiner in both Biology and Maths, David is acutely aware of the common errors students make which cost them marks and prevent them from achieving their best result. 

David is a member of the Irish Mathematics Teachers’ Association (IMTA) and has authored a Junior Certificate Science textbook "Less Stress, More Success”. His organised approach, energy, and ability to relate to students has resulted in him becoming one of our most popular teachers.

Where can you attend our Crash Courses?

Our live, interactive Crash Courses are mostly available in two formats, both designed to give students full engagement and access to expert teaching.

In-Person Courses: Students attend classes at our state-of-the-art campus in Blackrock, in a focused learning environment. Each Crash Course includes approximately five hours of expert tuition, comprehensive H1 study notes, and targeted exam preparation.

 

Online Courses: Students can attend classes online via live-stream using our HD streaming technology. This allows students to participate fully from home, with access to the same expert tuition and comprehensive study notes.

Each Crash Course is now available on a single subject basis for €99 per course, giving students the flexibility to choose the subjects they need most.

Please note, certain courses may only be offered online due to teaching requirements or the nature of their content

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I attend both In-Person and Online Crash Courses?

Yes, students can choose any combination of in-person classes in Blackrock and online live-stream courses. Please note some classes are online only.

What is the format of the Crash Courses?

Each Crash Course is delivered in a focused format, designed to maximise impact in a short period of time.

Students receive 5 hours of expert tuition and classes are delivered in a structured session, supported by comprehensive H1 study notes (200+ pages per course).

If I attend On-Site Courses will I still receive recordings?

Yes, all students will receive recordings of their classes 48 hours after the session ends whether they attend In-Person or Online.

How will I access the recordings of my Crash Courses?

Our Crash Courses will be hosted on our Dublin Academy Study Hub learning platform. We will email you with your login details and passwords for this platform.

Can I do these courses if I don't live in Dublin?

Yes! Students living outside of Dublin can attend our Crash Courses online via the live-stream option. Copies of our H1 notes will be posted to your home. Please note, study notes will take up to 3 working days to arrive from the time of booking.

When will I receive the recordings of my classes?

Students will have access to recordings of their classes 48 hours after their course is finished.

If I attend the Online Live-Stream Crash Courses, how and when do I get my notes?

For live-stream students, our H1 notes will be posted to your home address free of charge. Please allow 3 working days to receive your notes.
