Xueting Bai

Mandarin Chinese

Xueting holds a Bachelor’s degree in TESOL and a Master’s degree in TECOL. She is a registered Chinese teacher with the Teaching Council and has over 10 years of teaching experience across both primary and post-primary levels. For the past five years, she has specialised in teaching Leaving Certificate Chinese, supporting students in achieving top grades.

In addition to classroom teaching, Xueting has contributed to the development of Chinese language resources tailored for Irish students, including the Chinese Language and Culture Teaching Pack and its upgraded edition. She is also a member of the development team for Junior Cycle Chinese Short Course 1 and Short Course 2 (Upgraded Edition).

Xueting has actively engaged in continuous professional development over the years, regularly attending CPD courses to enhance and update my teaching methodologies. She is passionate about promoting Chinese language and culture and strives to create an engaging, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment.
