Dagmara Furman holds a degree in Applied Linguistics and a Professional Masters in Education, which she obtained through the medium of German. She has spent several years studying and working in Germany.

Her studies as well as her work for Post Primary Languages Ireland, a dedicated unit providing expertise for foreign languages education in Ireland, have helped her to keep abreast with the latest teaching methodology and in particular active learning. She is passionate about applying this in the classroom in a way that will ensure that students get the best possible grades in the exams. She has examined orals with the State Examination Commission.
