Aly has taught Leaving Certificate English for sixteen years, and she has worked with the State Examinations Commission as a written examiner for several years during that time. The benefit of having the insight of a Leaving Certificate examiner is invaluable to students who can be guided in the right direction, knowing how to fully appreciate and respond to the requirements of the exam paper. 

She has developed sample examination papers at the inception of the new Junior Cycle English course. She is the co-author of an English revision book as well as two Junior Cycle English textbook series, both of which are market leaders, popular amongst English teachers and used across classrooms throughout the country. 

Aly is driven to share her enthusiasm for English with her students and remains up-to-date with curriculum changes as they are happening. She has a proven track record of instilling confidence in her students, thus ensuring their personal growth and success.
