David has over 10 years experience teaching Maths and Biology at the highest level and he specialises in giving students a clear, fundamental understanding of the syllabus. He is fascinated by innovative new ways of creating effective, personalised exam strategies which students find hugely beneficial and are proven to achieve results.  As an examiner in both Biology and Maths, David is acutely aware of the common errors students make which cost them marks and prevent them from achieving their best result. 

David is a member of the Irish Mathematics Teachers’ Association (IMTA) and has authored a Junior Certificate Science textbook "Less Stress, More Success”. His organised approach, energy, and ability to relate to students has resulted in him becoming one of our most popular teachers.

With a wealth of experience teaching mathematics across all levels, David has empowered over 3,000 students to achieve remarkable improvements in their Junior and Leaving cert exam results. Renowned for his dynamic teaching style, David expertly guides students through complex concepts and exam strategies, making maths both accessible and engaging. In-Person: We offer on-site classroom-based free courses in our Blackrock location.

Online: We also offer you the option of attending our free courses via live-stream meaning you can participate from anywhere in Ireland.

Regardless of which option you select, you will be able to interact with our teachers and ask questions. Leaving Cert weekly grinds are 75 minutes in duration and Junior Cert grinds are 60 minutes in duration. All classes are accompanied by our renowned Dublin Academy study notes. If you opt for online grinds, our study notes will be available by email prior to the class.

The foundation of our grinds is ‘exam focus’. Our teachers strip away the unnecessary sections of each subject and focus solely on the core, examinable material, the aim of which is increasing your exam performance.
