John is a University of Limerick graduate with over a decade of experience in the teaching profession having spent time teaching in both public and private schools in Ireland and Australia.

John’s teaching style puts the student at the centre of the learning process. This enables students to achieve at their highest level through reflection and measured guidance. He is passionate about teaching and has a practical approach to his subjects with a focus on the exams.

His philosophy is that every student can learn whatever they put their mind to. Students learn in different ways and at different paces so it is essential to instil the correct working habits and mindsets in any good learning environment. John is passionate about co-curriculars and has successfully mentored many students to win prizes in the BT Young Scientists Competition.
