Robert teaches in a systematic and clear way that relates to students.
Meet your Maths Teacher – David Lewis: David’s ability to relate to students has resulted in him becoming a popular teacher at The Academy. His teaching methods are unique and are tailored to the Maths Syllabus. David is a member of the Irish Mathematics Teachers’ Association and is specialised in providing students with a clear, fundamental understanding of the syllabus. As an examination corrector in Maths, David is adept at understanding the mistakes for which students frequently lose marks.
Meet your Maths Teacher – Sarah Mulligan: Sarah Mulligan holds an Honour’s Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and a Professional Diploma in Education. Sarah specialises in setting high targets for students to achieve their academic potential. She prides herself on building a rapport with students using innovative methods tailored to students needs and capabilities. In 2017 the Irish Mathematics Teachers Association presented Sarah with an award in recognition of her achievements when one of her students placed first in the Higher Level Maths Leaving Certificate Examination.
