She prides herself on building a rapport with students using innovative methods tailored to students needs and capabilities. In 2017 the Irish Mathematics Teachers Association presented Sarah with an award in recognition of her achievements when one of her students placed first in the Higher Level Maths Leaving Certificate Examination.
