Students enrolled in our Crash Course Plan receive complete support across up to 6 courses, ensuring full preparation for the Leaving Certificate.

 

Access to up to 6 courses with one plan.

Comprehensive H1 study notes, with over 200 pages per course, created by State Examiners and textbook authors.

Expert tuition, with approximately five hours of focused teaching per course.

Past and probable exam questions, targeting topics most likely to appear in the State Examinations this year.

 

Crash Courses take place in the lead-up to the State Examinations and can be attended in-person in Blackrock or online via live-stream.

Meet your Chemistry Teacher

Dr. Nichola Walsh

Nichola has a first class honours degree in chemistry and Ph.D. from U.C.D. and she completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Oxford. She is an experienced teacher who has taught G.C.S.E, A-level, and Leaving Certificate chemistry and was an undergraduate chemistry tutor and lab demonstrator in U.C.D. She is a passionate teacher who loves teaching science and this comes across in her classes. Nichola is also an examiner for higher level chemistry, which has given her an invaluable insight into grading the chemistry paper. She regularly incorporates this knowledge into her classes to ensure students maximise their marks.

Where can you attend our Crash Courses?

Our live, interactive Crash Courses are available in two formats, both designed to offer you full engagement and access to top-quality instruction.

 

In-Person Courses: Students attend classes at our state-of-the-art campus in Blackrock in a focused learning environment. Each course includes 5 hours of expert tuition per course, for up to 6 courses (up to 30 hours total). Students also receive comprehensive H1 study notes.

 

Online Courses: Students can attend all classes online via live-stream using our HD streaming technology. This allows full participation from home, with up to 30 hours of expert tuition across 6 courses, along with posted study notes.

Please note, certain courses may only be offered online due to teaching requirements or the nature of their content.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sign up to both On-Site and Live-Streamed Revision Courses?

Yes, students can book any combination of our On-Site and Live-Streamed Revision Courses. i.e. they can chose to attend some courses here at the school and others online.

What is the format of the Revision Courses?

Students attending these courses will attend a one-day revision course that takes place for four hours. They will also receive our H1 study notes with their course.

Can you do these courses if you don't live in Dublin?

Yes, by attending our Live-Stream Revision Courses, you can attend from the comfort of your own home. You will also have hard copies of the notes posted to you so you don’t have to worry about printing them out.

If I attend the Live-Stream Courses, how and when do I get my notes?

For live-stream students, our H1 notes will be posted to your home address free of charge. Please allow 3 working days to receive your notes.
