On-Demand Grinds.
Students who are interested in taking part in our On-Demand Grinds programmes can sample them free of charge. These free On-Demand courses allow students to experience the high quality of this style of tuition before making a decision to pay for the full programmes.
Each free On-Demand course is 1.25 hours in duration. All courses come with our renowned study notes which students can download free of charge. Each course covers a key area of each subject providing valuable insights for students. Once students sign up, they will have access to watch the free On-Demand course for seven days.

Topic Covered in this Free Online Course: Photosynthesis
In this 75 minute online course, David will reveal how to approach studying the long biology course for maximum exam efficiency. Meet your Business Teacher – Rónán Murdock: Rónán Murdock is the Head of the Business Department at The Dublin Academy of Education. He is the author of the Leaving Certificate Business Revision textbook, and is a popular teacher amongst students due to his ability to help them relate to the subject. Rónán is known for instilling confidence in students due to his deep understanding of the syllabus and marking scheme.
Topic Covered in this Free Online Course: Stoichiometry
This will cover how to calculate moles and molecules, and how to use balanced equations to calculate the mass of reactants/products. This is a key skill for the leaving certificate and my notes have helped many students achieve top grades in their calculations.
Meet your Chemistry Teacher – Dr. Nichola Walsh: Nichola has a first class honours degree in chemistry and Ph.D. from U.C.D. and she completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Oxford. She is an experienced teacher who has taught G.C.S.E, A-level, and Leaving Certificate chemistry and was an undergraduate chemistry tutor and lab demonstrator in U.C.D. She is a passionate teacher who loves teaching science and this comes across in her classes. If I sign up to the On-Demand Grinds programme will I be able to rewatch the videos lessons at a later date?
chevron_rightYes, access to all your videos lessons will be available right up until the State Examinations in 2023 are over.
Will the 40+ hours of video lessons be available to watch from the start of the year?
chevron_rightYes, students will access to their subject's video library which they can watch at their own pace.
Is there a cut-off point to signing up for the On-Demand Grinds programme?
chevron_rightNo, although our On-Demand Grinds programme commences June 27th 2022, students can still sign up after this date.
How and when do I get my notes?
chevron_rightPlease allow at least 3-4 working days to receive your notes. There may be a scenario where you are granted access to our On-Demand Grinds programme prior to the study notes arriving but we advise students to wait until they have the notes before commencing watching the video lessons.
Can you do these courses if you don’t live in Dublin?
chevron_rightYes, you can watch the video lessons from the comfort and safety of your own home as they are online. You will also have hard copies of the notes so you don’t have to worry about printing them.
Can notes be delivered to anywhere in the country?
chevron_rightNotes can be delivered to anywhere in Ireland.
How will I view the On-Demand Grinds programme?
chevron_rightOur On-Demand Grinds programme will be hosted on our DASH Platform. Prior to On-Demand Grinds commencement date in June 2022, we will email you with your login details and passwords for this platform.
Do I need the study notes to get value from the videos lessons?
chevron_rightYes, absolutely. Students who attempt to watch the videos lessons without the study notes will not get value from these video lessons as our teachers constantly refer to the notes constantly throughout. As such, we advise all students to follow the video lessons with the notes in front of them.
What happens if I share my logins to DASH with another student who is not enrolled in the On-Demand Grinds programme?
chevron_rightOur On-Demand Grinds programmes are strictly only available to students who are enrolled with us. We have software in place to identify suspicious login activity and will revoke account access if we suspect a student is sharing logins with non-enrolled students.
Can I be logged on to the On-Demand Grinds programme on more than one device at a time?
chevron_rightNo, you will only be able to log on to our DASH platform on one device at a time. If you try to log in on a second device, you will be automatically logged out on the first device.
Can you only view the videos once?
chevron_rightNo, you can pause, rewind and rewatch all of the videos.
Will there be timetable clashes?
chevron_rightWith our On-Demand Grinds programme, there will be no timetable clashes at all, allowing unrestricted course choice and giving students the freedom to work through each course at their own pace and at a time that suits them.
