5-Day Easter Revision Courses:
This year, our Easter Revision Courses offer students more flexibility than ever before. Students can access these courses by attending On-Site Courses in Stillorgan or Online Courses via live-stream.
- On-Site Courses: Students attend our courses in person at our school in Stillorgan. These courses consist of 5x 75-minute classes over the course of one week which include comprehensive study notes. Students will also receive recordings of their class that they can pause, rewind and rewatch up until the State Exams are over.
- Live-Stream Courses: Students can attend our courses online via live-stream. Our HD live-streaming technology allows students to attend our courses from the comfort of their own home. All study notes are posted to students free of charge. Students will also receive recordings of their class that they can pause, rewind and rewatch up until the State Exams are over.
Students can book any combination of On-Site and Online Courses they wish. The Special Offer applies across both options. Easter Revision Courses take place from Monday 11th April to Saturday 23rd April.
Students who sign up for these courses will receive:
- Recordings of classes that students can pause, rewind and rewatch after the courses have taken place.
- On average, 300 pages of our H1 study notes per subject.
- Over six hours of expert tuition in each course with some of Ireland’s most dedicated and passionate teachers.
- Past and probable exam questions that are likely to appear in this year’s State Examinations.

Topics covered in this Leaving Cert Applied Maths Easter Revision Course:
- Newton’s Laws
- Collisions
- Differential Equations
Students will receive notes on the following Applied Maths topics:
Students need to attempt 6 questions from a total of 10 questions. Question 10 (Differential equations) is the only change made to the papers in a long time because of changes on the Maths syllabus. It is essential students do question 10 as it will help enormously with similar questions on the Maths paper. Students attending this course will cover the techniques for 4 questions from the paper (Questions 3, 4, 5 and 10). Students will receive detailed solutions to leaving cert questions from 2016-1996.
Meet your Applied Maths Teacher – Kieran Mills: Kieran Mills’ experience of correcting with the State Examination Commission gives him an in-depth knowledge of what is required by students. He is popular amongst students due to his mastery of the Project Maths Syllabus and is well-known for his ability to stimulate students’ interest in the subject. Kieran has 25 years’ experience teaching. He has co-written several books, including The Power of Maths series of Junior and Leaving Certificate Textbooks, trusted by thousands of students around the country. Kieran has also been an expert contributor on Maths for RTÉ Radio.

Meet your Biology Teacher – David Lewis: David’s ability to relate to students has resulted in him becoming a popular teacher at The Academy. His teaching methods are unique and are tailored to the Biology Syllabus. The German exam is notorious for students running out of time. This course will provide students with a strategy on how they can effectively answer certain sections, such as the heavily weighted reading comprehension section, in a time efficient manner. What is the format of the Easter Revision Courses?

They will also receive an average of 300+ pages of our H1 study notes per course. Students will also be sent recordings of their classes that they can pause, rewind and rewatch after the course.
If I attend On-Site Courses will I still receive recordings?

When will I receive the recordings of my classes?

If I attend the Live-Stream Easter Revision Courses, how and when do I get my notes?
chevron_rightFor live-stream students, our H1 notes will be posted to your home address free of charge. Please allow 3 working days to receive your notes.
Can notes be delivered to anywhere in the country?
chevron_rightYes, no matter where you are, you will be able to attend our Easter Revision Courses and we will post the notes to you.
Can you only view the recordings once? How long will I have access to the online courses?
chevron_rightNo, you can pause, rewind and rewatch all of the videos. All students will have access up until 1st July 2022.
Will there be timetable clashes?
chevron_rightShould there be a timetable clash, students can still enrol and can watch the recordings of the classes at a later date.
Can you do these courses if you don’t live in Dublin?
chevron_rightYes, by attending our Live-Stream Easter Courses, you can attend from the comfort of your own home. You will also have hard copies of the notes posted to you so you don’t have to worry about printing them out.
