Important Guidance News for May
Key Reminders before end of May
CAO Change of Mind: Opened May 7th. Adjust preferences until July 1st. Prioritise preferences over points. Confirm changes via CAO emails.
Statement of Application: ESSENTIAL to check email (junk mail too). Review CAO statement by end of May. Check details, exam no. & language exemptions. Notify CAO of any discrepancies asap- easy to change now, difficult in August.
SUSI Funding: Attend Info Event on May 13th at 7pm via Teams.
Key Reminders before July / August
PLC - Most PLC / FETAC colleges still accepting applications, followed by interviews. A great option for your back pocket.
Greatest cause of drop out in colleges? Not knowing the course content . MAKE SURE THIS IS NOT YOU!
OPEN DAYS: Watch the Open Day videos / online material about courses, 1st year subjects to virtual chats with current students. Check the Alert Lists for new courses.
